Electronic Keyboard
Keyboards are electronic instruments (requiring a power source) with a variety of volume options, and often can produce sounds like piano, horns, strings, organs, synthesizers, and more. Most keyboards come with 66, 72, or 88 keys. For a beginner, 66 keys are sufficient for learning to play. If someone is interested in playing modern music at a variety of locations, then a keyboard might be the better choice. Keyboard keys are usually lighter than piano keys. One who plays the keyboard uses different sounds in the keyboard besides piano and using different sounds involves a whole new technique. Another keyboard approach will be the one-man band method where the keyboardist uses a different drum rhythm in the keyboard and the left hand to trigger the chord accompaniment while the right hand plays the melody. Keyboards have a variety of looks, sounds, rhythms, connectivity to computers and more. This can make music a lot of fun for a beginner of any age.
Our institute has taken steps to provide lessons for the school syllabuses as well as lessons for international exams such as ABRSM-London, Trinity College-London and GuildExam-Australia. We have separate classes for students and adults who need to learn only as a performer.
