Dileepa Ariyarathna

Mr. Dileepa Ariyarathna is a professional All Style dancer and choreographer Born and raised in Kuwait.

In 2009, Dileepa started his official dance crew. This crew was created by selecting talented individuals in Sri Lanka who would be able to bring motivation to others.

In 2012 this crew organized a dance competition. The competition promotes self-expression and different dance styles on a single dance floor. This competition has been held each year for the past 8 years and has become a tradition for all dancers to take part.

In 2013 he started to share his knowledge by teaching his art of dance styles to develop the hip hop culture in Sri Lanka. Many of his students participated in numerous dance workshops and competitions, have won titles and have been selected as finalists in certain competitions.

Dileepa himself has also participated in numerous dance competitions and has gone on to be a finalist in some . He has also been invited as a judge and to conduct workshops in different parts of the country. Competitions such as; BMICH Battle Zone 2015-2016, Street Jam 2017 , Street Fighters 2015, Challenge vol.1 2014, Challenge vol.2 2015, Bash select you flavor (All styles judge) 2018-2019, Official dance choreographer “Miss Sri Lanka 2019”, etc..

He recently participated in a Sri Lankan TV dance competition called “Derana City of Dance 2019” And secured a place at the top 12. Also acting in a teledrama called “BRO” which the story is based on hip hop and it is telecasting on “ITN”.

He still resides in Sri Lanka where his passion for dancing was developed since childhood. Now his main aim is to develop the level of all dancers and events, and to create opportunities for Sri Lankan dancers to travel, participate and win international competitions.
